Data collection

This extension does not collect any personal information from your device or browser. It does not track your browsing, your viewing history, your account, or your identity. It contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party SDKs.

What the extension stores

NonStop Youtube saves a small amount of information locally on your own device, using Chrome's storage.local API. This never leaves your browser and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Whether the extension is switched on or off
• A count of how many interruptions it has dismissed for you
• Timing and preference flags for the occasional support message, including whether you have asked not to see it again

Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.

Where it runs

The extension only runs on youtube.com and music.youtube.com. It has no access to any other website you visit.

Data usage

As no data is collected, no data is used for any purpose beyond the extension's core function on your own device.

Data sharing

As no data is collected, no data is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party — including for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions required to detect and dismiss YouTube's “Continue watching?” prompt and to remember your on/off setting. It does not request access to any site other than YouTube and YouTube Music.

When you uninstall

If you uninstall the extension, your browser opens a short feedback page on this website. It asks one optional question about why you left. It is completely anonymous — the link carries no identifier of any kind, nothing is sent unless you choose to press the button, and the answer cannot be traced back to you or to your installation. You can simply close the tab.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
